Dr. Francisco Fonseca
Graduated in Medicine at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1982), medical residency in General Surgery at Hospital Municipal Cármino Caricchio, São Paulo (1984), with specialization in Urology (1987), master's degree (1999) and doctorate (2002), in Oncology by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo.
Uro-oncologist member of the Brazilian Society of Urology since 1987, American Society of Urology since 1996 and the European Society of Urology since 2011.
Professor of Urology Chair of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Mogi das Cruzes, from 2001 to 2004. He worked at AC Camargo Hospital, at the Department of Urology of the Department of Pelvic Surgery, from 1987 to 2012. The expertise developed in highly complex surgeries, such as radical prostatectomy and radical cystectomy, led him to attend the most renowned hospitals in São Paulo, such as: Hospital Sírio Libanês, Oswaldo Cruz, 9 de Julho, Santa Catarina.
Experience in general urology, with emphasis on urological cancer and special interest in bladder, prostate, kidney, testis and penile cancer. Professor of Urology of the discipline of the Urinary System at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Nove de Julho, since August of 2012 until June of 2017. It has 13 articles published in international scientific journals, 31 in national scientific journals, 14 chapters written in partnership with other practitioners, 4 Master's and 1 doctoral guidelines.
